National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) was established in 2021 as a result of the merging of two universities: National Yang Ming University and National Chiao Tung University. Our vision is to be a leading global institution that shapes a dynamic and inclusive future through pioneering research, innovative education, and transformative societal impact. To achieve this vision, we integrate innovation through diverse channels and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration. We aim to establish a university that embraces a comprehensive approach and integrates innovation through cross-disciplinary collaboration, talent attraction, and industry-academia alliances to cultivate a globally competitive academic ecosystem enriched by diverse partnerships and deep local-global connections. NYCU ELITE has also emerged in response to the demand.

NYCU ELITE is a monthly newsletter that highlights NYCU’s outstanding research, remarkable individuals, and global engagement with our international community. Each issue includes a Feature Story and curated NYCU news, organized into ten primary themes that reflect the university’s dynamic growth and its leadership in academia, research, and international collaboration.
